AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS FOR JUNE 9

  • Rampage kicks off with Bandido & the Lucha Bros vs. Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, and Ethan Page in a trios match, with all six men in the ring and ready to go.
  • Bandido & Lucha Bros defeat Ethan Page, Big Bill & Lee Moriarty. The finish saw Ethan Page about to hit Ego’s Edge on Bandido when The Hardys came out talking on the mic to distract him. Bandido took advantage to hit the 21 plex for the pin fall win.
  • The next episode of QTV is here. The QTV crew wants to do something edgy for the Collision debut. Maybe give out free ice cream to the fans? Maybe announce a big announcement? No, they’ll instead go out on Rampage and give the fans an idea of what they can expect to see on Collision.
  • There’s a hype video for Forbidden Door.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs defeats Caleb Crush. Crush is billed from the local area, Colorado Springs. Hobbs drapes him over the ropes and hits a running boot to the head. Caleb gets one strike in, but Hobbs quickly puts him away after that with a spinebuster. Commentary hypes up Hobbs as a major player on Collision.
  • Renee Paquette interviews Arn Anderson and Wardlow. Arn says his son Brock is tough and will be okay after being attacked by Christian and Luchasaurus on Dynamite. They made a mistake by not finishing the job. Wardlow says disrespect comes at a cost. He talks about putting down Samoa Joe, Hobbs, and Christian as TNT champion. Wardlow has an open challenge for the title this Wednesday with Jake Hager. After that, he’s coming to wipe out Christian and Luchasaurus.
  • Daddy Ass & The Acclaimed make their entrance for a trios match against Spanish Announce Project (SAP). Max Caster raps about the Denver Nuggets, Pride month, Lauren Boebert, and SAP standing for Small Ass Penises.
  • Daddy Ass & The Acclaimed defeat Spanish Announce Project. Bowens offers a scissoring to Angelico but pulls it away from him. He goes to do it again, but Angelico punches him in the face this time. Serpentico and Caster tag in. Caster hits him with an atomic drop and throws him out of the ring. Luther attacks Caster, but is tossed out by Ass. The three babyfaces have Angelico all alone in the ring and Bowens lands Scissor Me Timbers on him. Ass mesmerizes Serpentico and punches him in the face. Luther breaks up a scissoring party as we go to break. The Acclaimed double team Serpentico after the break. Caster hits the top rope elbow drop for the win. The babyfaces engage in three-way scissoring to celebrate the win.
  • There’s a recap video of the entire episode of Dynamite.
  • Renee Paquette welcomes Jeff Jarrett and his entire crew onto the stage for an interview. Karen Jarrett wants a piece of Aubrey Edwards right now. Mark Briscoe comes out with Aubrey. Jeff holds Karen back. Aubrey says AEW will not sanction a match between the two of them, but if Aubrey catches her interfering in a match, she’ll kick her ass. Mark takes the mic and informs everyone that even though a one-on-one match will not be sanctioned by AEW, they will sanction a mixed trios tag team match. Sonjay Dutt calls them out for not having a third teammate to face Jeff, Karen, and Jay Lethal. Mark corrects him and says it will be his father, Papa Briscoe, joining them for the match.
  • We get pre-taped promos from all four women in the main event explaining why they will win and go on to face Toni Storm next week on Dynamite.
  • Skye Blue defeats Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Mercedes Martinez in a 4-way match. The match moves at a pretty fast pace early on, with only 10 minutes left in the episode for the full bout. Marina Shafir interferes on Rose’s behalf, but Shida chases her away with the kendo stick going into the commercial break. There are less than four minutes left in the episode coming out of the break. Nyla climbs up top for her flying knee, but Baker tosses her off the buckle. Baker hits the Sling Blade on Mercedes for a one count. Britt and Skye exchange blows in the middle of the ring. Britt and Skye then double team Mercedes in a submission hold, but Nyla breaks it up. Rose chokeslams Baker, but Mercedes breaks it up with a running knee. Mercedes with a backdrop suplex on Rose. Baker stomps Nyla. Mercedes and Britt brawl to the outside. Skye takes advantage of a wounded Nyla with Code Blue for the win.
  • The commentators go crazy over Blue’s huge upset win. Skye Blue will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW women’s world championship on Dynamite.
  • That’s the end of the show, folks!
