Rampage hasn’t featured a ton of huge matches since shortly after CM Punk debuted for the company in 2021, but their Dec. 2 line-up looked particularly lackluster. How would a show main evented by QT Marshall do, especially since the previous Friday’s show didn’t air in its usual timeslot?
Really, really bad. Like, historically bad.
Dec. 2’s edition had an audience of 361,000. That’s 12% worse that the previous week’s episode that aired at 4pm on Black Friday, and 19% less than the last one that aired at 10pm ET on Nov. 18. It’s rating among 18-49 year olds was a .08 — the worst number in the show’s history, regardless of timeslot or channel. Rampage finished 60th among cable originals, another new low for the series.
Maybe more meaningful match-ups would help? I’ve never been Booker of the Year or anything, but I think it’s worth a shot.
