Kylie Rae says she is ‘currently unwell’ and ‘no longer a professional wrestler’

Keep a good thought for Kylie.

Sad news, but hopefully a sign better days are ahead for Kylie Rae.

The former AEW & Impact star posted the following to her Patreon:

Good morning,

I’m truly sorry for the pain I’ve caused and miscommunication, I am currently unwell.

I’m also sorry that I wasn’t able to get this out before your monthly subscription charge.

I wanted to take this time to say I am no longer a professional wrestler and am currently taking a break from social media. It’s been a very hard decision to make but please understand.

When I am well, I will try to fulfill any obligations that have missed.

During this time, most tiers will not be able to be fulfilled, please feel free to unsubscribe from this membership/PatreonAccount.

Thank you for your understanding. <3

Rae was scheduled to face Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts title at their Bound For Glory PPV last month, but never made it to the venue. Word spread that Kylie was in Nashville the day of the show but never arrived at the taping or contacted anyone involved in the show. She was reportedly “physically fine” when officials tracked her down later and in good standing with Impact, who left storyline options for her open on television episodes filmed the week after the PPV.

After her time with AEW ended in somewhat similar fashion, Rae revealed she struggled with mental illness.

Join us in wishing Kylie well in the fight - a fight she’s certainly not alone in fighting.

If you or anyone you know is dealing with or has questions about mental illness, you can find more information and resources here.
