WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Feb. 6, 2023) from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, featuring all the latest build to the upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event scheduled for later this month in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Advertised for tonight: Three qualifying matches for both the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches. On the women’s side, a Fatal 4-Way will see Mia Yim vs. Candice LeRae vs. Carmella vs. Piper Niven while the men’s side will see Angelo Dawkins vs. Damian Priest and Montez Ford vs. Elias. Plus, Becky Lynch vs. Bayley in a Steel Cage match, and more!

WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 6
Every night I’m in a different town, I’m the kind that likes to get around. Living fast I’m on the run, I take my chances ‘cause I’m only here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with the intro video.
Edge and Beth Phoenix make their entrance together, to Edge’s theme much to my Mellotron-loving chagrin.
Edge begins on the mic after a video recap plays and tells us it’s good to be back. He’s the king of comebacks at this point and it’s getting silly, and they’re here for one reason: the Judgment Day. They’re his fault, and the idea was to elevate talent he felt deserves it, and it worked.
All of Judgment Day are in a better place than they were a year ago and that’s a good thing. He puts over Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley over in turn before damning Dominik Mysterio with faint praise. He tells of how they waged war back and forth leading up to Extreme Rules, and he knew Finn didn’t have what it takes to make him quit.
But then they brought Beth into it and he’s the kind of man that is not used to feeling helpless. He gives Judgment Day a golf clap and says he’s a vindictive cruel bastard who will sink to any level to get his pound of flesh, and this leads to Phoenix stepping in.
She challenges Rhea and Finn to finish—
Enter Judgment Day.
Finn Balor cuts a promo about how it might be time for Edge to hang ‘em up and Dominik says they better run before he does to them what he did to his dad at the Royal Rumble. Damian Priest agrees and promises the next beatdown will make Extreme Rules look like Child’s Play.
He stumbles over his words and almost says he’s gonna enter Money in the Bank rather than Elimination Chamber, and claims he’s gonna win the United States Championship again. Dom wishes Ripley were here to see what they’re gonna do, but she’s busy traveling the world to promote WrestleMania.
Edge points out that Damian Priest said he didn’t want a leader but here he is following Finn around like a lapdog, and Balor is a dollar store Jamiroquai, and the problem is they drop each other faster than ex-con Dom dropped his drawers in the clink, which is fitting given how many times he’s tried to screw his dad over.
Beth says Rhea’s not here tonight because she speared her soul out of her body last week but she didn’t come here to talk, she came here to beat Rhea Ripley’s ass, and since she’s not here tonight, Phoenix pitches herself and Edge against Finn and Rhea at Elimination Chamber!
Balor asks Dom if he thinks Rhea’s in, he does, and he accepts the challenge! That is, if they make it to Elimination Chamber!
A brawl breaks out, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford make the save, and Beth Phoenix hits a Glam Slam on Dominik Mysterio!
And so we go to break.
Angelo Dawkins vs. Damian Priest (Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match)
Back from commercial, the match is in progress, Dawkins hits a Samoan Drop! Off the ropes, Priest ducks to the floor and Angelo follows out after him... POUNCE OVER THE ANNOUNCE DESK! Back inside, Damian turns the tide, Broken Arrow... NOPE! Kneeling surfboard follows, and then to a kneeling rear chinlock, Angelo fights to his feet and they trade punches!
Sidestep a boot, Dawkins lands an enzuigiri, low-bridge sends Priest to the floor, Angelo follows after but gets dropped by a lariat! Charging, jumping kick off the steps and we go to break!
Back from commercial, whip across, big corkscrew uppercut from Dawkins! Spinning Stinger Splash and the enzuigiri, Drill Bit blocked, Angelo hits an exploder suplex... NOPE! Right hand staggers Priest, headed up top but Damian cuts him off with a goozle! Jockeying for position but Angelo gets an arm wringer over the ropes!
Back inside, superkick sets up a lifting reverse STO but Dawkins kicks out! Goozle reversed, Drill Bit connects... PRIEST KICKS OUT! Dragging him over, Angelo heads up top, senton atomico... NOT ENOUGH! Trading punches right on the jaw, Damian hits Cyclone Kill and follows it up...
Damian Priest wins by pinfall with South of Heaven, qualifying for the Elimination Chamber.
We get footage of Austin Theory rolling up to the arena earlier today, and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Adam Pearce welcomes Maxxine Dupri and Maximum Male Models to Raw.
Chelsea Green rolls up to talk to the manager.
She complains that the chocolate she got today was Belgian and not Swiss and furthermore she’s not in the Elimination Chamber despite being able to beat most of the women in it. He points out she didn’t last five seconds in the Royal Rumble, and she ripostes that she wants a match tonight or she’ll cost him his job.

Baron Corbin vs. Dexter Lumis
Corbin hot out the gates, rear chinlock applied after some striking, off the ropes for an elbow and right back into the chinlock! Hard whip into the turnbuckles, cover for two, but Lumis gets in on the comeback! Head-and-arm triangle denied, but Dexter catches him...
Dexter Lumis wins by pinfall with a Side Effect.
We get a recap of last week’s Becky Lynch / Bayley segment.
Becky is interviewed backstage.
She talks about meeting Bayley for the first time ten years ago. She seemed sweet and kind and she wanted to be great and she did that by high-fiving and hugging and attaching herself to any mealticket she could. Becky wanted to be great, too, and she went after it by smashing faces and kicking down doors, and Bayley didn’t like that.
Bayley separated her shoulder and brought her family into it, and she’s gonna teach her that that was a bad idea tonight inside of a steel cage, and she’s got one hand left to play, and tonight might be the night.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Brock Lesnar makes his entrance in a Megadeth t-shirt, so that’s at least one thing I could have a conversation with him about.
He gets on the mic and asks if we caught the Royal Rumble and says he thought it sucked, or at least he had a sucky experience. He got his ass thrown over the top rope by Bobby Lashley. Bob finally struck a chord in him and he couldn’t get Lashley out of his head.
Hunting, icefishing, a big ol’ steak dinner, bedtime with his wife, nothing got Bob out of his head! All week long he thought long and hard about what to do with Bobby Lashley, and he came up with a violent resolution. In his five-dollar denim jacket is a multi-million dollar contract, and on this contract it states that they’ll have a match at Elimination Chamber.
If Lashley has a set of balls, he’ll come down there and sign this contract.
Enter Bobby Lashley.
He wants to take a walk down memory lane, and he recounts their match history together— Bob won number one, Brock won number two (but Lashley left him unconscious), and the Rumble was their third meeting and he eliminated Lesnar without any problem. So if memory serves, he thinks he gets to set the terms right now and not Brock.
Bob takes the contract and says he’s gonna have his agent, his manager, and his lawyer look at it and then he’ll get back with him on it. Lesnar hits the F-5 on him and leaves the contract on him! Brock goes to leave but the “one more time!” chants are thunderous and he can’t help but oblige the crowd!
Backstage, Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis roll up on Candice LeRae to wish her luck tonight. Dexter drew a picture with Nikki Cross in the background, Candice is confused, Nikki is actually in the background and cackles before running off.
Carmella makes her entrance and we go to break.
Candice LeRae vs. Carmella vs. “Michin” Mia Yim vs. Piper Niven (Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match)
Carmella runs away from Niven, back in to try and grab a sleeper but Piper slings her off! LeRae and Yim work together to cut Niven down to size and then square up themselves. Standing switch, Mia catches a kick and counters with a buckle bomb! Up top, electric chair, Candice reverses with a Poison Frankensteiner, Mella tries to steal the pin... NOPE!
Niven takes all three of ‘em out with a freight train crossbody! Covers come up empty, and we go to break with Piper in control.
Back from commercial, Carmella gets laid out by a lariat, Niven catches LeRae on a dive and Yim comes in with a running neckbreaker! Eat Defeat on Mella but Piper pulls her out of the ring! Back and forth, LeRae with a senton and Carmella nearly ends it with a schoolboy from outta nowhere!
Putting Candice into the turnbuckles, choking her and putting boots to her, corner dropkick, pass Piper into a cannonball and then take her out with a superkick! Dragging LeRae in...
Carmella wins by pinfall with a folding press on Candice LeRae, qualifying for the Elimination Chamber.
Backstage, Baron Corbin wants John “Bradshaw” Layfield to tell him what’s next but JBL tells him he’s a channel changer and sapped all the credibility from JBL’s hall of fame career. He’s not a modern-day wrestling god, he’s a clown and he doesn’t belong near him.
Corbin promises him he’ll do better, Bradshaw tells him you can’t polish a turd and he’d know because he tried.
Chad Gable makes his entrance and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Piper Niven accosts Candice LeRae backstage but Mia Yim makes the save!
Niven tells them if either of them get between her and the Raw Women’s Championship again, she won’t be so forgiving.
Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis Dozovic) vs. the Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin)
Montel Vontavious Porter is managing Cedric and Shelton tonight.
Gable and Alexander to start, mat grapping and light lucha libre back and forth, big German suplex from Chad! Tags made, Benjamin with forearms, whip across, float over a slam, big roundhouse staggers Otis! Rising knee countered into a World’s Strongest Slam and Dozer is fired up while Gable is a crab on the apron!
Big splash stuns Shelton, whip across, he takes the turnbuckles hard, front kick sets up a reverse roundhouse! Paydirt countered into a slam, Otis stacks him up but Benjamin sidesteps! Tags made, Cedric lighting Gable up, running dropkick to the back of the head! Fired up, whip reversed, Chad to the floor and back in, duck a lariat, Neuralyzer connects!
Alexander off the ropes, suicide dive countered into an exploder suplex on the floor! Up top, diving headbutt, Benjamin breaks it up! Dozer counters him, rising knees connect this time, two in a row, big Samoan Drop from the Gold Standard! Chad dumps him to the floor, running forearm on Cedric, up top again, nobody home on the moonsault!
Cedric gets him up...
Hurt Business win by pinfall with Lumbar Check from Cedric Alexander on Chad Gable.
We get a recap of Rick Boogs’ return and defeat of the Miz last week.
The Miz is interviewed backstage.
He says he’s going to bill Adam Pearce for the damages to his $10,000 suit last week, and he’s not impressed by Boogs at all. Rick leaves Adam’s office and Miz asks how he got an appointment first. Boogs is just happy to be reunited with the Boogs Crew and the A-Lister tells him to cut the humble crap.
He tells Rick he got lucky and calls Adam lazy and incompetent and claims if he was dressed and ready he would have won. Pearce books a match next week and Boogs is so fired up about it he’s Boogsing out.
Chelsea Green appears to tell Pearce he better make sure she has an opponent when she goes to the ring now, or else.

Asuka vs. Chelsea Green
Green with a shotgun dropkick out the gates, smashing Asuka’s face into the mat over and over, big slap, the other women in the Elimination Chamber filter into ringside, capture DDT connects but Chelsea gets distracted jawing at Carmella! Taking a moment to jaw at Natalya as Nikki Cross scuttles by.
Cross and Green trade barbs, Chelsea goes to talk to Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan and Asuka rises behind her! Duck a slap and a backhand, rapid-fire punches, multiple uraken and kicks, German suplex follows! Buzzsaw roundhouse kick, charging in, Green with a kick but Asuka with a flying armbar and then an Ode to Jim Breaks...
Asuka wins by submission with Ode to Jim Breaks.
Post-match, Bianca Belair comes to the stage to survey her challengers.
She says she sees six top-tier women in WWE, but who has what it takes to win in the Elimination Chamber? Who has what it takes to go one-on-one with the EST? Last year she was in their position and she knows what it’s like, and that’s how she won the title.
We see Cody Rhodes walking backstage to send us to break.
Back from commercial, “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his entrance.
He gets on the mic, somewhat hoarse, and asks what everyone wants him to talk about. He says last week he used his time to talk about his current WrestleMania opponent, the best in the world, Roman Reigns. “Sami!” chants go up and Cody says the crowd read his mind, he wants to talk about the guy with all the momentum walking into his home town at Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn.
He says it looks more and more like he’ll be challenging Sami for the title, and with all respect for a friend he wishes Zayn luck and that the best man may win.
Enter Paul Heyman.
He does his usual introduction for himself and says the only thing as big as the week leading up to a major event is the week coming out of it, and he and the Tribal Chief have had their hands full this week and some things have slipped through the cracks. Like congratulating Cody Rhodes on winning the Royal Rumble.
A handshake is offered and accepted and Cody says his father and brother had nicknames for Paul but if he’ll indulge him, he’ll call him Mr. Heyman because he has an unparalleled respect for him and he thinks he knows why. But if we’re gonna pull the curtain back we might as well pull it all the way back, and he has a story to tell.
The year was 2000, and the till in the Rhodes family had dried up, Hard Times was more than just a promo. Simply put, the family went broke, $100 left in the checking account and his dad doing local car commercials just to keep the car. But then he got a phone call from Paul Heyman.
ECW was in town and Steve Corino was gonna talk trash and if Dusty Rhodes would just appear to be on camera he’d pay him and pay him well. Heyman’s about to cry as Cody tells him he kept his word, in addition to the money they sorely needed, ECW gave his dad his confidence back and he can never repay that.
He thanks Heyman and acknowledges that before he was here he was causing trouble somewhere else, and from one disrupter to another, Paul showed him the way, and he thanks him again. Heyman says he caught him off-guard, he came here to schmooz a little busines and Cody got him personally.
Paul wants to go all the way, too, and says this isn’t about him and with all due respect and love it’s not about Dusty either, this is about everything that Cody has fought for from the bottom all the way up, out the door and back in, winning the Royal Rumble and main eventing WrestleMania.
But winning at WrestleMania is a whole different story, whether it’s a dream come true or the nightmare of “just this close” because he’s not just winning WrestleMania, he’s trying to take away from the greatest box-office attraction of all time, Roman Reigns. He tells Cody he can’t know how he’ll react to the spotlight because no one ever prepared him for it.
Right down the road is the WWE Performance Center, where his father, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes trained and prepped the biggest stars of this generation— Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Kevin Owens, and Roman Reigns. But who didn’t Dusty train and prep? He didn’t train nor prep Cody himself.
Maybe just maybe his father wanted him to step out from his shadow, he didn’t want him to go through life as Dusty’s son, but as Cody, the man who stopped the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania. Maybe. Paul can’t convey in words how much he loved Dusty and he can tell him straight to his face how much his father loved him.
And he’ll tell him this, in his last conversation with Dusty he told him that Cody was his favorite son... but Roman Reigns was the son he always wanted.
Cody advances on Paul and gets in his face, causing Heyman to beg off and say he’s just the messenger, but Rhodes grabs his hand and pulls him close. He says he’s just trying to win a wrestling championship but everyone wants to make it personal, and Paul just did that.
But he’s not gonna pay for it, his boy Roman Reigns will pay for it at WrestleMania when he takes those titles... personally.
Montez Ford makes his entrance to send us to break.
Back from commercial, we get a Kofi Kingston vignette for Black History Month.
Elias vs. Montez Ford (Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match)

Collar and elbow, struggling into the corner, Elias with a side headlock, block the shoot-off, succeeds there, shoulder block, cover for one. Montez a couple nearfall attempts, headlock takeover from the Drifter! Lighting Ford up with punches, whip across, back body drop!
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Elias has a kneeling surfboard in, shifting gears, backbreaker connects and the Drifter goes up top but Ford cuts him off! Jockeying for position, sunset flip blocked, Elias with an electric chair and into the Liger Bomb... SO CLOSE! Smashing the Drifter’s face into the turnbuckles, big diving crossbody connects!
Lariats follow, off the ropes for a leaping lariat, duck one, big back suplex and he’s fired up! Standing moonsault... STILL NO! Attitude Adjustment from Elias, shoulder thrusts, big right hand from Montez... OVER THE RINGPOST TOPE CON GIRO! Back inside, back up top...
Montez Ford wins by pinfall with the frog splash, qualifying for the Elimination Chamber.
Post-match, Theory taunts Ford from on top of the announce desk and Seth Rollins appears to take his legs out from under him with a lariat and follow it with Blackout!
We see the cage being lowered for our main event and we go to break.
We get our main event entrances and take one last commercial break before it begins.
Bayley vs. Becky Lynch (Steel Cage Match)
Circling, Bayley with a cheap shot and trying to climb out of the cage but Lynch pulls her down! Jawing at each other, a shoving match breaks out, Becky with vicious forearms but Bayley takes her knee out! Lynch trips her up but gets passed into the cage wall, returning the favor and then the Role Model throws Becky to the apron!
Choking Lynch under the ropes, cover for two, again Bayley trying to climb out and Becky dropkicks the cage to knock her down! More dropkicks, ramming the Role Model into the cage wall, putting boots to her and grinding her face into the steel! Fighting on the ropes, smashing each other into the steel, Becky knocked down, diving elbow... SO CLOSE!
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, trading punches in the middle of the ring, rolling solebutt, springboard solebutt, whip into the corner but Bayley starts climbing! Jockeying for position on the cage wall, guillotine leg drop off the top for two! Manhandle Slam countered into a Bayley-to-Belly... SO CLOSE!
Bayley with a leg pick, Becky crawling for the door, kicking her into the turnbuckles, schoolboy for two and the Role Model grabs a heel hook on the kickout! Upkicks to break free, Lynch drags herself to her feet and climbs up the turnbuckles, Bayley cuts her off!
Fighting on the ropes, clinging to the steel... AVALANCHE BAYLEY-TO-BELLY CAN’T KEEP BECKY LYNCH DOWN! On top of the cage, fighting, Dis-Arm-Her in the steel framework! IYO SKY climbs to fight Becky back inside, Dakota Kai slides Bayley a crutch and she rams it into Lynch’s midsection!
LITA IS HERE?! She plays equalizer with Damage CTRL, fighting IYO and Dakota... TWIST OF FATE ON SKY! Bayley tries to walk out the door and Lita slams the door on her! Lynch is ready...
Becky Lynch wins by pinfall with the Manhandle Slam.
Post-match, Lita and Becky embrace.
