SmackDown’s numbers up from their last FS1 show

WWE.com

College football bumped SmackDown to cable for the blue brand’s Survivor Series fallout episode. That obviously took a chunk out of its viewership and ratings. But not quite as big of one as the last time the show was bumped from FOX to FS1.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the Dec. 2 edition of SmackDown had an audience of 902,000. That’s 8% better than the Oct. 28 episode on FS1. It scored a .25 rating among 18-49 year olds, an almost 9% improvement over that October’s show. It finished fifth among cable originals, trailing ESPN’s NBA doubleheader, the SportsCenter that followed the second game, and one of the days World Cup soccer games.

The show was replayed at 10pm and midnight ET, but neither cracked the top 150 cable programs of the day those numbers aren’t available.

No other preemptions coming up that we know of, but the holidays might be pretty rough with no PPV PLE until Royal Rumble at the end of January. While we’re wondering how those will do, here’s a rundown of the past six months or so of the blue show’s numbers:

* Aired on FS1
