WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JUNE 13

I miss you, so far, and the collision of your kiss that made it so hard, but right now I have to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a memorial graphic for the late, great Iron Sheik.

Mustafa Ali, Tyler Bate, & Wes Lee vs. the Schism (Jagger Reid, Joe Gacy, & Rip Fowler)

Brawling before the bell and the Schism take control in a big way as the match rolls on. Lee in peril, babyfaces come back with teamwork and we go to break!

Back from commercial, now Bate is in trouble, but he takes Fowler out! The match breaks down into “everybody do something cool” territory, 450 comes up empty and Reid passes Ali hard into the turnbuckles! Wes tags back in, quick combinations on Rip, tope con giro takes the rest of the Schism out!

Back inside, back handspring, no deal, superkick staggers Rip and takes the referee out! Cross chop cuts Lee off, Schism toss Lee into it, tossing triple powerbomb but referee Darryl Sharma slides in to stop the cover because Wes wasn’t legal!

Bop and Bang, a couple dives, rebound lariat into underhooks...

Mustafa Ali, Tyler Bate, & Wes Lee win by pinfall with Tyler Driver ‘97 from Bate on Joe Gacy.

We get footage from earlier of Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak giving Thea Hail a pep talk when Duke Hudson rolls up to complain about them interrupting his paper grading, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Bron Breakker makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He says from now on he’s gonna hold people accountable for their words and actions and that’s why he speared Ilja Dragunov through the concrete. Seth Rollins is everything he says he is and then some, until he locks eyes with the meaner than evil Bron Breakker.

And where is Rollins? Where’s the workhorse champion? He doesn’t see him!

Ilja Dragunov comes storming out of the back, referees and security holding him back while Bron tells him he’s not on his level! It doesn’t matter to him who you are, he’s gonna hold you accountable.

Seth Rollins appears on the tron, laughing and singing. He asks what Bron thinks this is, just because they’re both former NXT Champions he can just say his name three times fast and get a crack at the World Heavyweight Championship? That’s not how things work around here!

But Rollins likes his approach, bold and straight to the top, and he’s been in his position before, just wanting to make noise and be THE guy, and truth be told it would be kinda nice to go back to where it all started. So he can’t believe he’s gonna say this, but challenge accepted!

We get a hype reel for Dana Brooke.

Dana Brooke is interviewed backstage and says she’ll be in NXT for as long as they’ll have her, and she loves being in the ring and she’s made lemonade out of lemons over and over again in her career. Now she’s home in NXT, and the crop of women—

Cora Jade rolls up to complain at her about how she should be #1 contender, not some glorified cheerleader. They bicker back and forth and Jade slaps her across the face and runs away as we go to break!

Back from commercial, Mustafa Ali chats with Tyler Bate and Wes Lee about how much he likes being her in NXT and how he wants to see them fight each other and they need a clear and decisive victor, so what if he was the special guest referee.

Wes says if he can make it happen he’s down, and Bate is also into it.

Cora Jade vs. Thea Hail

Jade in control, Hail busting out her grappling chops, ripcord into a lucha arm drag, hip toss Cora turns it around into a reverse chinlock! Thea throwing her around on the comeback, Dana Brooke with a save when Jade tries to use a kendo stick, Hail grabs a hold...

Thea Hail wins by submission with a double wristlock.

A hype reel for the Heritage Cup follows.

We see the Meta-Four walking backstage, Noam Dar on crutches, and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get some hype for NXT Gold Rush, a two week event starting next week that will be main evented by Bron vs. Seth next week and the winner of Baron Corbin vs. Ilja Dragunov in our main event against Carmelo Hayes next week.

In the ring, Noam Dar berates Nathan Frazer for “brutally attacking” him in the parking lot but he won’t just be awarded the cup, because his main man Oro Mensah will step up and defend the cup for him.

Nathan Frazer vs. Oro Mensah (c) (NXT Heritage Cup)

Round 1

Collar and elbow, struggling around the ring, pace heating up as the clock ticks down and Frazer gets a folding press...

Nathan Frazer wins the first fall by pinfall with a folding press, going 1-0.

Round 2

Mensah hot out the gates, ramming Frazer into the corner with a forearm, cover for two, snap suplex, again just a two count! Jakara Jackson runs interference, Lash Legend holds Nathan down, Oro with a kick...

Oro Mensah wins the second fall by pinfall with a spinning heel kick, evening it up 1-1.

And so we go to break.
