WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (June 12, 2023) from the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, featuring all the latest build to the upcoming Money in the Bank Premium Live Event scheduled for early next month in London.
Advertised for tonight: The final Money in the Bank qualifier on the men’s side will take place, as Matt Riddle takes on Damian Priest. Elsewhere, The Miz gets the chance to get payback on Cody Rhodes for clubbing him over the head with his arm cast last week in the form of a singles match. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn also battle Imperium, and a whole lot more.

WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JUNE 12
If you were here, I’d never have a fear, so go on, live your life, but I miss you more than I did yesterday, while I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with Rhea Ripley making her entrance and Adam Pearce in the ring to present her with a new title belt.
Pearce wastes no time and unveils the Women’s World Championship, in the style of Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship, presenting it to her.
Dominik Mysterio runs down and puts it around her waist. He says she deserves it and he’ll always be there to support her.
Enter Cody Rhodes, microphone in hand.
He asks Kansas what they want to talk about before telling Rhea that he has all the respect in the world for her accomplishments, or we could talk about his match with the Miz later tonight, but let’s take a look at this, and he points to the screen and his confrontation with Dominik from last week on MizTV plays.
He tells Mysterio that he’s not gonna slap him across the face and get away with it, and he challenges him to a match at Money in the Bank. Dom says he’ll embarrass him like he would anyone else, the crowd chants “You suck!” and Cody asks them to do it again for clarity’s sake before demanding a yes or no answer.
Ripley says Dom is more of a man than anyone in the arena or watching at home and certainly more of a man than Cody, and he accepts! Miz tries to attack Cody from behind but the American Nightmare clobbers him and sends him packing! Mysterio gets a cheap shot in and runs away!
And so we go to break.
“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. the Miz
Rhodes clobbering Miz with forearms, big dropkick, duck a lariat, front kick and the drop down slap! Back suplex, the A-Lister lands on his feet but Cody rams him into the corner and slings him aside with a hip toss before passing him to the floor!
Beautiful Disaster cuts him off, Rhodes wants to come off the top but settles for a suicide dive when Miz moves out of the way! The A-Lister begs off, Cody with a little Garvin Stomp and a leg snap! Clubbing Miz whip fails when his leg gives out and Rhodes takes him into the opposite corner manually and puts boots to him!
Big windup, Miz back body drops him to the apron and pulls him face-first into the steel steps! Bouncing Cody off the announce table cover, front kick, back inside and Rhodes gets a delayed vertical gourdbuster for some breathing room but the A-Lister passes him shoulder-first into the post and then throws him into the steel steps to send us to break!
Back from commercial, Miz up top, Cody joins him, shoved down, duck under the dive, big Side Effect and both men are down and out! Fired up, pressing the attack, Beautiful Disaster rocks the A-Lister for a two count! Double leg from the Miz, Cody kicks him aside, springboard caught into the full nelson, reversed into a victory roll pin!
Chest kicks from the Miz, duck the buzzsaw finale but the A-Lister comes back with the basement DDT... NOPE! Full nelson, slung aside, springboard into the Cody Cutter! Fired up, inverted facelock...
Cody Rhodes wins by pinfall with Cross Rhodes.

We see Becky Lynch hanging out with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage.
She walks off on her own past Alpha Academy training and heads out to make her entrance to send us to break.
Back from commercial, Becky Lynch gets on the mic.
She says she’s going to Money in the Bank and says winning the ladder match has always eluded her, but this year she has a good feeling. She says she’s been thinking about it and the briefcase holder might even have more power than the champion.
She says she wants the power to make the champion scared and if you wanna know the power of fear, just look at Trish Stratus, who was so scared that she went and got herself an insurance policy in the form of Zoey Stark. In her mind she already lost the match before it even started, and—
Enter Zoey Stark, by herself.
She says Becky can’t beat Trish Stratus, and in the ladder match, she’ll be able to add “can’t beat Zoey Stark” to her list of failures. Lynch says she’s learned from every single one of her failures and that’s what makes her great. She says Zoey is built like a pitbull but she lacks a personality, and Stark asks if she doesn’t own a mirror.
She says Becky became relevant because somebody broke her face and now she’s scratching and clawing and trying to hold onto the fame and off of that, she’s holding onto Trish Stratus. Stark says she’ll break her face again and make her famous, and Becky says she can come down and fight right now.
Enter Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
Green is sorry to interrupt, Stark starts in their faces and Deville wants to address the blatant disrespect from Lynch last week. Chelsea says she was attacked unprovoked and only didn’t fight back to keep her tag partner from losing her place in Money in the Bank.
Lynch wants to start the match right now and tells Zoey to take a seat and see why she’s famous.
Becky Lynch vs. Chelsea Green
Armbar takedown sets up a dropkick from Lynch, Green with a boot up but Becky knocks her to the floor and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Green with a reverse chinlock, breaking for a surfboard stomp into the turnbuckles! Lynch comes back with a missile dropkick, Chelsea rolls to the floor, Becky follows and clobbers her with an elbow before throwing her into the barricade a few times!
Shoving Green aside, Manhandle Slam countered, roll through...

Judgment Day are walking backstage talking up Dominik’s inevitable victory over Cody Rhodes, but Finn Balor is lost in thought. Damian Priest says he’s gonna make Matt Riddle face his reckoning and he asks that they let him go out there alone.
Matt Riddle makes his entrance and we go to break.
Damian Priest vs. Matt Riddle (Money in the Bank Qualifying Match)
Feeling out, Priest with a shrug, Riddle sidesteps a kick and goes for a Kimura Lock, Damian throws him off but Matt is right back on him with a sleeper hold! Charging forearm duck a Cyclone Kill, charging forearm, low bridge sends Priest to the floor!
Blocking a kick, he trips Riddle up on the apron and knocks him down! Back inside, lifting reverse STO, smashing Matt in the corner, big backbreaker... NOPE! Riddle blocks a kick, lands one of his own, ducking and dodging, Pele Kick connects! Kip-up, fisherman suplex, big senton, Penalty Kick off the apron and a corkscrew dive to the floor!
Back inside, big bridging German suplex from Riddle for two! Trading shots, Priest staggered but he’s able to hit Broken Arrow and send us to break with both men down and out!
Back from commercial, Riddle gets an ankle lock in the middle of the ring! Priest breaks free with upkicks but Matt shifts right into a sleeper hold! Damian posts to his feet and breaks free with a senton but Riddle pops right back up and locks the hold back in!
Roll through to escape, huge northern lariat! Headlock driver ensues but Riddle kicks out! Matt goes up top, Priest cuts him off and climbs up after him, getting under him but Riddle floats out! Damian perches, Matt climbs back up with him... AVALANCHE FISHERMAN BUSTER CAN’T PUT PRIEST AWAY!
Corkscrew moonsault misses, springboard countered...
Damian Priest wins by pinfall with the Razor’s Edge, qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Imperium make their entrance as Priest leaves and he goes face-to-face with GUNTHER, telling him to go ahead and pick the bones.
They hit the ring and put boots to Riddle!
We get a recap of our opening segment because Raw is three hours long. (Three hours long.)
Cathy Kelley interviews Cody Rhodes backstage.
He says Rhea Ripley making the match official is a reoccuring factor, Judgment Day gas Dominik up with cheap shot after cheap shot but eventually he’s gonna fall down. He says Brock Lesnar won’t show up and Dominik Mysterio won’t go away and every second on his path to finishing the story he’s clinging to it, so you name ‘em, nobody’s gonna knock him off his path.
He wishes Dom good luck at Money in the Bank and we go to break.
Back from commercial we get a hype reel for WWE’s partnership with the Special Olympics.
Byron Saxton interviews Natalya backstage.
She says that maybe “never being the same” is a good thing, because being her hasn’t gotten her anywhere, and maybe she doesn’t know how to be herself anymore anyway.
She walks up and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn roll up and Saxton pivots to chat with them.
Kevin Owens says tonight they get payback against Imperium and Ludwig Kaiser and GUNTHER roll up to say payback is what they did to Matt Riddle just now. Sami talks Kev down and points out that Riddle injured Baldie out.
Adam Pearce rolls up to ask what the problem is and Zayn says there’s no problem, he’s just letting these boys know what’s in store for them later. Ludwig Kaiser says if they’re so confident they can put the titles on the line. KO gets agitated and accepts the challenge and storms off to put his gear on.
Sami tells GUNTHER to take a real good look because he’s looking at the undisputed tag team champions. He leaves, GUNTHER tells Adam to make it a title match, and he says he’ll think about it.
We get a recap of the last few weeks of the Bloodline saga.
Ricochet makes his entrance to send us to break.
Back from commercial, we get a promo from Indus Sher where Jinder Mahal offers Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin a proper match for showing respect in their eyes when they got beaten down.
Bronson Reed vs. Ricochet
Mounted punches from Ricochet, Reed shoves him off but he lays in probing leg kicks! Bronson throws him into the turnbuckle and drops him with a single huge forearm!
Shinsuke Nakamura comes down the aisle, Ricochet with a boot, a forearm, duck a lariat, satellite DDT blocked and reversed into a delayed vertical suplex belly-first into the ropes! Slingshotting Rick off the ropes, freight training him, staring Shinsuke down and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Ricochet on the comeback, big dive to the floor! Back inside, springboard crossbody sets up a quebrada... NOPE! Elbow sends Bronson to the floor, where he catches Rick and throws him into Nakamura! Back inside, Shinsuke attacks...
Bronson Reed wins by disqualification.
Ricochet is confused and frustrated and turns Nakamura around to tell him off, whereupon Reed blasts both of them and drops Shinsuke with a short-arm lariat! Up top, Nakamura cuts Bronson off, Ricochet climbs up with him... SUPERPLEX ON THE BIG MAN!
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are talking in the locker room about what happened with Imperium and Sami says Kev has been blowing up a lot, constantly at a ten. Owens admits it’s been months of stress and frustration and now that they’re done with the Bloodline it’s all these European boys and—
Zayn says he just wants to make sure Owens is good, Kev says he’s great, and Sami accepts his judgment and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Adam Pearce is on the phone and it’s official, the tag match tonight is for the titles!
Ricochet rolls up to demand a rematch against Bronson Reed next week. Adam says he understands the frustration but Bronson is already booked in a match against Shinsuke Nakamura, who is right behind Rick. Ricochet tells him he didn’t need his help and if something like this ever happens again, they might have to finish what they started before Money in the Bank.
Nakamura says it’s not personal, it’s just his turn to succeed where Ricochet failed, and he can have Bronson after he’s done with him.
Finn Balor makes his entrance and gets on the mic.
He calls Seth Rollins out and says they need to talk without jokes, zingers, or singalongs.
Enter Seth Rollins, conducting the crowd as they sing his song.
Balor gets upset, seeing as he specifically requested Rollins not engage in this behavior. He says he’s been waiting seven years to say this and he’s not waiting another second, and he talks about how seven years ago he was a first-round draft pick on Raw, beat Roman Reigns on his first night, and three weeks later, he beat Seth to be the first-ever Universal Champion.
Finn hems and haws and Seth yells at him to get it off his chest right now. Balor says Rollins put him to the lowest of lows in an instant, with a torn bicep, torn pec, torn labrum, and a fractured socket. He’s not complaining, this is a hard, tough business and injuries happen.
But you know what bothered him? Seth took everything from him, his momentum, his title, and a year from his career, but guess what? Now it’s his turn, and he’s going to take it all back. And he’s going to take it all at Money in the Bank.
Rollins laughs it off for a good moment and says he’s not laughing because the crowd sang Finn’s promo out of the building, but rather this is the Balor he’s been waiting to see for the past seven years. SummerSlam, Brooklyn, inaugural Universal Championship match that sent them on different career trajectories, because Finn got bitter and Seth got better.
Rollins got better every day and now he’s the greatest version of himself, and the proof is the title around his waist, and if Finn wants a crack at it at Money in the Bank, he’s on! But he needs to know which version of Balor is coming to London, because this bitter shell of a champion doesn’t stand a chance.
Seth calls him a little bitch and drops the mic, walking off.
Raquel Rodriguez makes her entrance to send us to break.
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Shayna Baszler
Rodriguez with a fallaway slam early, Stinger Splash, another fallaway slam and Baszler rolls to the floor! Following after her, throwing her back inside, Shayna sidesteps a boot and kicks her leg out of her leg! Kneeling toehold, rolling her over, stomp to the ankle!
Ronda Rousey up on the apron, Raquel distracted, Baszler rolls her up...

We get a memorial video package for the late, great Iron Sheik and we go to break.
Chad Gable vs. Erik
Gable suckers Erik right into an armbar, Erik blasts him down, and throws knees and forearms into the corner! Up top, jockeying for position, diving headbutt and both men are down and out! Valhalla attacks Maxxine Dupri and gets arm dragged on the floor!
Up and over...

We get a Rhea Ripley hype reel.
Finn Balor is chatting with JD McDonagh about how things are around here when Damian Priest rolls up. Balor congratulates Priest on qualifying for Money in the Bank, Damian congratulates him for getting a title shot and Finn asks if he would cash in on him.
Priest says of course not but tells him to make all this tension worth it and end this with Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.

Back from commercial, Cathy Kelley interviews Seth Rollins.
He laughs Finn Balor off and says he’s as prepared as can be, and the real question is if Finn is prepared for him, because when he wins Balor isn’t just gonna lose his mind, his buddy Damian Priest might be out on him, too.
He’s feeling spry and ready to blow the whole thing up, and he says next week, live on Raw he’s gonna do an open challenge for his world Heavyweight Championship.

Back from commercial, Zayn takes Kaiser down into an armbar! Owens in, quebrada for two, back and forth, the match breaks down and GUNTHER gets a nearfall on a big splash on Zayn! Imperium in control, Sami slammed into the apron, and we go to break!
Back from commercial, Zayn gets a sunset flip powerbomb on Kaiser and the path is clear! Owens in hot on GUNTHER, distracted briefly by Ludwig, schoolboy for two! Stunner denied, shotgun dropkick connects and both men are down and out!
